Case Study 1

This is a CD front cover of a med shot of Drake looking directly at the camera which is something we are going to use as well as its more attractive and we can clearly tell it fits with thee genre conventions of R&B style.
His name is written in capital letters which is something I was planning to do and make Rihanna's name also in capital letters but smaller and underneath his name so it can be clear that he is more important than her as she is only featuring in his song. The colours used are very simple which is black as the main colour as he is wearing a black coat and the top and bottom have black, his name is using the colour of the background he is in. The ideas that I like from this CD cover is the font used for his name and the way it is using the colours of the background, as if it forms part of the background.
